Overview

This small group tour lasts about 11 hours and includes hotel pickup and drop-off in the Disney, Universal, International Drive Region, and Kissimmee 192 areas of Orlando. After pickup, guests receive a continental breakfast bag to eat during the drive to the Kennedy Space Center. The guide provides information and tips during the drive to prepare guests for the visit. Upon arrival, the tour begins with a walking visit to the Rocket Garden. Next, guests board the NASA Explore Special Interest Bus Tour, which goes behind the gates onto NASA property to see the launch pads and the Vehicle Assembly Building. This bus tour ends at the Apollo Saturn V Center, where visitors can walk underneath a Saturn V rocket, experience a reproduction of an Apollo launch firing room, and touch a moon rock. A lunch voucher valued at fifteen dollars is provided for use at the Apollo Cafe. After lunch, guests return to the main visitor complex to visit the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, which includes more than sixty interactive displays about the shuttle program. The tour also includes a visit to Gateway, the Deep Space Launch Complex, a new attraction opened in summer 2022. Additionally, guests visit Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, located within the Kennedy Space Center. Bottled water is provided throughout the day, and snacks are offered for the return trip to the hotel. The tour is led by a professional guide and driver. Guests may bring backpacks and soft-sided coolers into the visitor complex, but glass containers are not allowed. All bags are subject to security search. If the scheduled tour date coincides with a rocket launch, some parts of the tour may not be available.
