The route passes totem poles, Saxman Native Village, and the Tongass Narrows coastline before arriving at the Beaver Falls Salmon Cannery, one of the last standing canneries in the area. Guests then walk a rainforest trail from the cannery to the Zodiac boats. After a safety briefing, participants put on rain gear, rubber boots, and life jackets. Each guest has the opportunity to captain a four- or six-passenger rigid-hulled inflatable Zodiac boat, switching off as desired. The 90-minute Zodiac tour explores George Inlet Fjords, including views of the Mahoney Falls Glacial Cirque and local wildlife. After returning to the cannery, guests receive a snack and a flight of 49th State craft beers or sodas. The tour includes private transportation, boat driving, snacks, and alcoholic beverages. Gratuities are not included.
