Khao Yai National Park, one of Thailand's oldest and largest protected areas, offers diverse wildlife and several natural attractions. This full-day bus tour from Bangkok lasts about 11 hours and includes a professional park ranger guide and an English-speaking tour leader. The trip begins with a visit to the park itself, where visitors can observe various animals including wild elephants, gibbons, macaques, and many bird species. The tour includes a hike along a scenic trail through different forest types such as mature dry forest, secondary forest, and grasslands. The trail features large banyan and java plum trees that attract wildlife and ends at Nong Phak Chi Observation Tower, which is a good vantage point for spotting animals. Next, guests see Haew Suwat Waterfall, a well-known cascade surrounded by green scenery, followed by a stop at Lamtakong Campsite where deer can often be seen roaming. The itinerary continues to Haew Narok Waterfall, the tallest waterfall in the park, reached by a hike that offers wide views of the jungle and the multi-tiered falls. The tour includes free bottled water, the park entrance fee, and air-conditioned transport. Hotel pickup and drop-off are provided for private tours and selected small group tour pickup zones in Bangkok. For those outside these areas, meeting at National Stadium BTS Station is required. Meals and personal expenses are not included. Note that visits to Haew Suwat and Haew Narok Waterfalls are not available during the dry season from April to May due to low water flow.
