Overview

This two-day bus tour covers the main natural attractions of the Almaty region, including Kolsai and Kaindy Lakes, and the Charyn, Black, and Moon Canyons. The itinerary is arranged to allow sufficient time at each location. Transportation is provided in a modern van or bus with air conditioning for comfort during the long drives. On the first evening, the group will have dinner featuring local dishes followed by karaoke and games around a bonfire. Overnight accommodation is at a yurt camp located in a quiet foothill area near a mountain river, where the night sky can be clearly seen. The camp offers shared yurts and rooms with attached bathrooms, giving a chance to experience traditional nomadic housing while staying away from city noise. Meals included are breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with vegetarian options available if requested. Bottled water is also provided throughout the tour. An off-road transfer to Lake Kaindy is done using a Soviet-era van. Optional activities such as boating and horseback riding are available for an additional cost. Special dietary foods and soft drinks are not included. Private accommodation can be arranged separately upon request. This tour is not suitable for children under 5 years old or for travelers who cannot handle long car trips, extended walks, or physical activity restrictions due to disabilities or injuries.
