This six-hour day trip departs from Kuala Lumpur and travels 55 kilometers northwest to Kuala Selangor, a town that was the capital of the Selangor Sultanate in the 18th century. The tour begins with a 15-minute visit to Sri Shakti Temple, located on an acre of elevated land in Bukit Rotan. The temple is known for its distinctive Hindu architecture. Next, the tour proceeds to Bukit Melawati, where visitors spend 25 minutes exploring the hill that overlooks the Strait of Malacca. Bukit Melawati features a lighthouse and the remains of the Kota Melawati fort. The final stop is Kampung Kuantan Firefly Park, where a one-hour boat ride is included. The boat travels through the mangrove area along the Selangor River, allowing passengers to see fireflies glowing among the Berembang Trees (Sonneratia caseolaris) lining the riverbank. Bottled water and air-conditioned transport are provided throughout the trip. Dinner, gratuities, alcoholic drinks, and personal expenses are not included.
