Riders must be at least 10 years old and wear closed-toe shoes. Height requirements are between 4’6” and 6’5” (1.4m – 2m), and weight must be between 85 and 250 pounds (38kg – 114kg) according to ebike manufacturer guidelines. Only one rider per bike is allowed, and helmets are provided. A safety briefing and test ride are conducted before the tour to confirm each rider can competently operate a mountain bike; inability to do so may result in cancellation without refund, with a replacement tour offered if available. The 2-hour novice electric mountain bike tour covers approximately 6 miles through Kualoa and Ka'a'awa valleys, making 4 to 5 stops for photos and views.
