Historic district and tranquil shrine
The tour starts with a ride through a historic district, followed by a visit on foot to a quiet shrine. Afterwards, the route continues by bike through peaceful neighborhoods and wooded areas toward a secluded Zen site away from common tourist routes. Along the way, there is a stop for a traditional snack at a family-operated shop with over a thousand years of history. Later, the ride passes through a calm temple complex to see a notable rock garden. The segment covers about 14 km and lasts roughly 3 hours and 45 minutes, combining cycling and walking through less-visited city areas.
