Overview

KURAMA Onsen is located at the foot of Mount Kurama, which is full of aura, and is one of the few hot springs in Kyoto that retains a pure natural spring source. With the theme of "body and mind purification and natural healing," it attracts countless tourists to experience traditional Japanese hot spring culture. The hotel has two bathing spaces, an open-air bath and an indoor bath. The open-air bath faces the mountains and forests, and the air is fresh; the indoor bath is mainly made of cypress wood, and is filled with a faint woody fragrance. After bathing, you can enjoy Kyoto-style cuisine at the hotel's restaurant at your own expense, such as Yudofu and Sansai set meals. Whether it is a relaxing hot spring bath after finishing your Kyoto sightseeing trip, or a special trip to experience the healing time of the tranquility of the mountains and forests, KURAMA Onsen is an ideal choice.

Located at the foot of Mount Kurama in northern Kyoto, surrounded by mountains and forests, "KURAMA Onsen" is famous for its high-quality natural sulfur spring, and is known as the "Kyoto's Secret Garden" by locals and travelers.
It is about a 10-minute walk from "Eizan Electric Railway Kurama Station", away from the hustle and bustle but still convenient, making it suitable for a day trip to Kyoto.
The open-air bath offers different views of cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, autumn leaves, and winter snow. Especially during the autumn foliage season, it is one of Kyoto's famous spots for viewing autumn leaves.
The spring water is a natural sulfur spring, which has the effects of promoting blood circulation, relieving fatigue, and moisturizing the skin, and is known as the "hot spring for beautiful skin."
Please note that due to an event in the Kurama area, this ticket cannot be used on October 22nd.

Please do not enter the bath with swimwear. Please observe the rules and etiquette of Japanese hot springs and cooperate with bathing. Cannot be combined with other tickets. The full package comes with towels and loungewear. The bath is separated by gender. Coin lockers are available (please prepare 100 yen coins, refundable). Upon arrival, please proceed to the front desk inside the venue and present your order voucher to complete the check-in process. Please proceed directly through the ticketing line and present your order confirmation at the entrance. December 18th is a closed day. Prohibitions & Limitations Participants who appear intoxicated may be refused service. In this case, no refunds will be given
