Overview

The La Maddalena archipelago in Sardinia is known for its clear waters, white sandy beaches, and unique rock formations. This day tour aboard the Riviera Di Gallura lasts about 7 hours and includes four main stops to explore the islands and their natural features. The tour departs from the commercial port of Palau at 10:00. The first stop is at Isola di Spargi, where travelers spend two hours at Cala Corsara beach. Here, visitors can relax on white sands, swim in turquoise waters, hike nearby trails to viewpoints, and see rock formations named the Witch's Head, Bulldog Dog, and Italian Boot. Historical sites such as the Zavagli Battery with original machine gun positions are also accessible. Next, the boat sails along Spargi’s eastern coast to the island of Budelli. After a brief photo stop at the Pink Beach (which is protected and not accessible for landing), the tour continues to the Natural Pools of Budelli. Guests have a 90-minute stop at Spiaggia di Cavalieri, part of these pools, to swim or relax. The third stop is a 30-minute swimming break at the Natural Pools of Budelli (Porto Madonna). Passengers can dive from the boat and snorkel to observe the island’s underwater environment. It is recommended to bring snorkeling gear. The final stop is a one-hour visit to the historic center of La Maddalena island, the only inhabited island in the archipelago. The boat docks at the port, allowing time to walk through the town’s squares, view historic monuments, and explore shops and workshops before returning. The vessel Riviera Di Gallura is equipped with onboard restrooms and designed for passenger comfort and safety. The tour includes about two hours of sailing time in total. Lunch and municipal landing tax are not included.
