Overview

This motorized tour lasts about three and a half hours around Lake Atitlán, starting from Panajachel. The group rides ATVs with helmets included, covering an off-road trail to a viewpoint called Ojo De Águila, which takes around 30 to 35 minutes. After reaching the lookout, the tour continues to San Antonio Palopo, a small lakeside town. Here, visitors stop at Cafe Tuk, a local coffee shop where they participate in making organic coffee by manually crushing the beans. The final stop is back in Panajachel at a restaurant by the lake shore where guests can watch the sunset. Dinner or snacks and drinks are available for purchase at this location. Parking fees and fuel surcharges are included in the price, but food and beverages are not. The tour requires a valid driver's license and prior ATV experience is advised. Youths with a driver’s license may operate their own ATV but must book as adults. Reservations require booking a driver rate; passenger-only bookings are not accepted.
