This small-group tour from Cat Ba lasts eight hours and covers both Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay in Vietnam. The trip begins with a boat cruise through the karst islands, limestone archways, lagoons, and tunnels of Lan Ha Bay. Participants will have the opportunity to kayak in calm waters to explore small caves and natural formations. The tour includes a visit to Cai Beo fishing and floating villages to observe local life. There is time allocated for swimming, relaxing on beaches, and watching black kites as they hunt for fish. Lunch is served on board the air-conditioned boat, with a vegetarian option available upon request at booking. An English-speaking licensed guide leads all activities. A full day cruise and kayak tour through Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay, departing from Cat Ba Island with a maximum of 30 travelers. 8h15: Start later than other tours to avoid the busy hour. 8h30: Boat cruises off Lan Ha bay, passing by Cai Beo Fishing Village and thousands of karst towers with many unique shapes (chopstick, seals,..). 10h30: Kayak through hidden lagoons, tunnels, and archways: K.A cave and Bats cave. 12h30: Boat drops the anchor at Ong Cam islet for sumptuous traditional Vietnamese lunch. Free time to relax, swim, jump off the boat, lounge on the deck, socials, etc. 13h30: Afterwards, boat continues to sail off Southern Ha Long bay, passing by Dau Be Island, Vung Vieng fishing village, Le Virgin arch and The Kite arch. Here is the most less-touristy and less-travelled areas on both bay. There will be only 1-2 other tourist boat with us at the same time here. 14h30: Kayaking, Swim and beach hopping at Ba Trai Dao Beach which is very natural, remote, quiet and less-touristy; discover the temple beach, more lagoons and arches by kayak 16h00: Enjoy the magical sunset as the boat travels back to the harbor 17h00: Van drops you off at the office.
