Overview

This 4.5-hour evening tour takes place in Lapland, starting from Rovaniemi with hotel pickup and drop-off included. The group is guided to a traditional Finnish wood-fired sauna located by an Arctic lake. Guests spend about 10 to 15 minutes inside the sauna, experiencing the heat that raises body temperature. After the sauna session, participants have the option to jump into the ice-cold lake water or roll in the snow to stimulate blood flow and relieve pressure. Towels and slippers are provided for use in the sauna, but guests must bring their own swimming suits for the ice swimming portion. Following the sauna and ice swimming, the group moves to a wooden cottage away from city noise for a dinner featuring smoked salmon cooked over an open fire by the fireplace. The tour operates from late October to mid-March, with departures at 5pm only, allowing for the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights if weather and conditions permit. An English-speaking guide accompanies the group throughout the tour. Children under 10 years old are not allowed on this tour.
