Overview
This rental offers single and tandem kayaks or stand-up paddleboards for a six-hour self-guided trip to Emerald Cave on the Colorado River near Las Vegas. Renters can choose to include a shuttle service with pickup and drop-off at Mandalay Bay Hotel on the Strip. The shuttle service provides convenient transportation to the launch site, but National Park entry fees are not included and must be paid separately. Alternatively, renters may drive themselves to the launch site and pay park fees on arrival. The rental package includes all necessary equipment such as a life vest, paddle, bottled water, and snacks. A digital map and basic kayaking instructions are provided to help navigate to Emerald Cave and nearby Black Canyon historical sites. This option is suitable for all skill levels and allows paddlers to explore at their own pace and take photos at Emerald Cave.

Willow Beach Kayak Rental
Participants arrive at Willow Beach to collect their kayak or paddleboard for a 4 to 4.5-hour rental. Equipment must be returned by 2:30pm, with meeting times between 9am and 10am. Those selecting the shuttle have pickup at 9am and return around 3:30pm at Mandalay Bay Hotel on the Strip. Basic paddling and water safety instructions are provided, along with a bottle of water, life vest, paddle, and either a single or double kayak or SUP. Paddling upstream into Black Canyon offers chances to see Desert Big Horn Sheep and includes a stop at a historical overlook with views of the Colorado River, finishing at Emerald Cave. Recommended items to bring include a hat, sunglasses, sunblock, water shoes or sandals, layered clothing, and a swimsuit for summer; stepping into water is required when entering and exiting the kayak.
