The Launceston Hollybank Treetops Adventure Zipline Tours take place at Hollybank Treetops Adventure, Tasmania's first outdoor adventure centre. This guided tour lasts approximately three hours and involves traveling through the forest canopy on wires connecting the Cloud Station platforms. Participants will experience three zipline rides, including Australia's longest zipline, which is 400 meters long and flies up to 50 meters above the Piper River. The tour is led by a professional guide who provides safety equipment, training, and locker hire. Digital photos of the experience are included. Groups are limited to 12 participants. Food and drinks are not included but can be purchased onsite. Transportation to and from the site is not provided. Children aged 8 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must wear closed-toe footwear and comfortable clothing. Weight limits apply, and those under 40 kilograms or under seven years old are required to ride tandem.
Hollybank Treetops Zipline Tour
Participants fly 50 metres above the ground over blue gum forest, the valley, and Piper’s River. The fully guided, 2.5-hour zipline canopy tour begins with gearing up and training, followed by a 10-minute walk to the launch area. The tour includes six ziplines covering nearly one kilometre. While moving through the canopy, guests travel from tree to tree, ending with the longest zipline of 400 metres. Guides provide information about Hollybank forest’s ecosystem at each timber platform.
