by Cabo Adventures
This scuba diving lesson in Cabo San Lucas lasts about three and a half hours and is designed for first-time divers who want to learn how to scuba dive with PADI certification. The activity begins with a first dive session in a specially designed shallow pool where participants practice basic skills to become comfortable underwater. After the pool session, the group boards a 45-foot US lifeguard certified dive boat equipped with a bathroom. The boat provides easy access in and out of the ocean, especially in the shallow waters around Pelicans Rock, a location known for generally clear visibility. Under the supervision of fully PADI certified instructors, participants will dive near the famous arch of the area. Snacks are included during the activity. Use of scuba equipment is not included and must be rented separately at check-in. Guests must complete a PADI medical waiver before participating. Additional fees for dive equipment rental, transportation, and dock access are paid at check-in. The tour operator arranges pickup before the start time, with details confirmed after booking. Guests with certain medical conditions or expectant mothers are not permitted to join this lesson.
Check-in and Introductory Dive
Participants check in, meet the instructors, and receive a verbal PADI diving safety briefing and presentation. They complete their first dive in a shallow dive pool designed for training. Afterwards, they board the scuba boat and travel to the arch area. The group then takes part in a 30-minute ocean dive with the dive team guiding them.
