You can take the ropeway to get up close to the ten-thousand-year-old glaciers, with one mountain spanning multiple climate zones. ⛰️ Glacier Park Large ropeway The terminal station is at an altitude of 4506 meters, and you can also hike along the plank road to an altitude of 4680 meters to experience the magnificent scenery of the snow mountain glaciers up close. 🌲 Spruce Meadow Small ropeway The terminal is at an altitude of about 3240 meters, offering distant views of the snow mountain and Blue Moon Valley. Surrounded by primitive spruce forests, it is cool in summer and is the best location to overlook Blue Moon Valley. 🌊 Blue Moon Valley (Baishui River essence section) The lake water, rich in minerals, presents rich layers of blue and green. Four lakes are connected in a series, and the lake surface is as clear as a mirror. The difference between the large ropeway and the Spruce Meadow small ropeway: The large ropeway ascends to an altitude of 4506m on Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, while the Spruce Meadow small ropeway reaches the Spruce Meadow alpine meadow at 3356m, offering views of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain peaks. Special attention: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area is a high-altitude area. To ensure your safety, visitors with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, mental illness, asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses, as well as those over 70 years old and infants under 1 year old, should travel with caution. Our agency temporarily does not accommodate pregnant women or unaccompanied minors under 18 years old. We apologize for any inconvenience. [Golden Mountain in Sunlight] Seasonal limited from November to the end of February each year, the itinerary includes viewing the Golden Mountain in Sunlight phenomenon (the effect is subject to weather conditions; it may not be visible on cloudy or rainy days. Please refer to the weather forecast before traveling). If foreign guests do not have a mainland China phone number, they need to contact customer service the day before travel to provide a WeChat QR code screenshot. Other contact methods are temporarily not supported. The driver will communicate using translation software or WeChat translation. As the driver also serves as a guide, they cannot accompany you on tours or provide explanations. They will guide you on routes and pick-up points via WeChat. We apologize for any inconvenience. In case of strong winds, temporary closure of the scenic area's large ropeway, or other force majeure reasons causing the ropeway to stop operating and being unable to ride, to avoid affecting the guest's experience, our agency proposes the following solutions: ① The Glacier large ropeway will be changed to the Spruce Meadow small ropeway, with a refund of 80 RMB per adult (if tickets are available, you can choose to change to the small ropeway); ② If you do not wish to ride any ropeway, the large ropeway fee of 120 RMB per adult will be refunded, and guests can visit Blue Moon Valley; ③ If you have not entered the scenic area on the day and the scenic area temporarily announces the closure of the large ropeway, you can choose not to travel and return to the city, but a loss fee of 100 RMB will be charged, and the order will be fully refunded. We do not accept bookings from the following types of guests: wheelchair users, pregnant women, those prone to motion sickness, those with acrophobia, patients with infectious skin diseases, patients with skin wounds or ulcers, individuals with visual or hearing impairments, and patients with cardiovascular diseases.
