Overview

This four-hour Lima journey begins with pickup from the hotel, airport, or a meeting point, depending on the selected option. The tour starts at Parque del Amor in Miraflores, where visitors spend about 20 minutes walking through the park and viewing the sea and the sculpture "El Beso" by Víctor Delfín. Next, the group continues with a 20-minute panoramic visit to Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological site from the Lima culture. The journey proceeds to Lima’s Historic Center for a 20-minute walking tour of Plaza de Armas, where the guide explains the history of the old Viceroyalty of Peru while showing the cathedral, archiepiscopal palace, and government palace. Afterward, the tour visits Casa de la Literatura Peruana, a former train station turned cultural center, and nearby artisan shops, allowing time to buy crafts. Then the group goes to a colonial house converted into a bar, where the guide demonstrates how to prepare Peru’s national drink, the pisco sour. The final stop is the San Francisco Museum and its catacombs, where a 30-minute guided tour explores one of the city’s oldest underground cemeteries. The tour ends with drop-off at the hotel or another location. Lunch or dinner in the city center is optional and at the traveler’s own expense. Air-conditioned transport and an official guide are included.
