Overview

Head into the Highlands Depart Edinburgh and travel north into the Highlands, passing the iconic Forth Bridge on a scenic drive-by. Continue through Perth before stopping at Taste Perthshire for refreshments and the chance to meet Highland cows. Enjoy a scenic drive through Cairngorms National Park, passing Aviemore en route to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Arrive at Loch Ness with time to explore the shoreline. An optional cruise and visit to Urquhart Castle is available to purchase on the day (£31 adult / £22 child). Travel through the Great Glen and stop at the Commando Memorial for photos with views of Ben Nevis. Visit dramatic Glen Coe and continue across Rannoch Moor. Pass Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument before returning to Edinburgh around 8:30pm.
