Overview
This hot-air balloon ride lasts about 3 to 4 hours and takes place at sunrise or sunset. The flight departs from Chateau Amboise, Chenonceau, or Chaumont sur Loire. Participants will float over the Loire Valley’s forests, lakes, orchards, and vineyards while a pilot controls the balloon. The ride offers wide views of the landscape and the rising or setting sun on the horizon. After landing, riders receive a glass of Champagne or sparkling grape juice to celebrate. Round-trip transport is included for hotels within 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) of Amboise.
