Overview

The London Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour offers flexible travel with 1-day, 24-hour, 48-hour, or 72-hour tickets that allow passengers to explore the city at their own pace. The tour covers major landmarks including Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, The Shard, Big Ben, and Oxford Street. There are three main routes: Red, Green, and Blue, each with specific schedules and audio guides in multiple languages. The Red Route runs every 20 to 30 minutes from early morning until early evening and takes about two and a half hours to complete a full loop. The Green Route lasts about one and a half hours with several departures daily, while the Blue Route runs every 45 minutes and takes about 80 minutes per loop. Passengers can board or start at any stop along these routes, though some stops have limited availability or temporary closures due to construction or events. The audio guide is available in 11 languages, and headphones are provided. The 48-hour and 72-hour tickets include a ride on a classic Route Master bus. The 24-hour ticket includes a one-way river cruise lasting approximately 35 minutes between Westminster Pier and Tower Pier, with departures every 40 minutes from 10am to early evening. The 48-hour and 72-hour tickets include a same-day return river cruise to Greenwich Pier, also lasting about 35 minutes with frequent departures. The 72-hour ticket additionally includes a night tour departing from outside Green Park Station with multiple departure times in spring through autumn and fewer in winter. The tour also offers bookable extras such as a 2.5-hour express panoramic bus tour that runs a single loop without stops, providing 360-degree views and audio commentary. Tickets and vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be used in printed or mobile form. Some stops may be temporarily out of service, and alternative boarding points are provided when necessary. The tour does not include gratuities, hotel pickup or drop-off, or food and drinks unless specified.
