London Walking Tour Exploring Jack the Ripper Murders with Ripper-Vision
by Secret Chamber Tours
Overview
London's Whitechapel district was the site of the Jack the Ripper murders in 1888. This walking tour lasts about 1 hour and 45 minutes and uses handheld projectors called RIPPER-VISION™ to display large historic photos, crime scene images, maps, and press illustrations onto the streets and alleyways where the events took place. The guide leads the group to key locations related to the murders and the victims' lives, showing visuals that appear directly on the walls and ground as the story is told. The tour offers a visual and narrative exploration of Jack the Ripper's London using modern projection technology. A professional guide is included. The tour runs in all weather conditions, so appropriate clothing is recommended.
