This four-hour boat cruise on the Thomson River in Longreach takes place at sunset on a heritage paddlewheeler. After the cruise, the boat moors at the Outback Pioneers' river camp for a traditional stockman’s two-course dinner served around a campfire. A bush poet performs during the meal, offering entertaining stories. Following dinner, guests watch the Starlight’s Spectacular Sound & Light Show, an open-air movie about Captain Starlight, created by the Kinnon family. The evening ends with billy tea, damper, and golden syrup served by the campfire under the night sky. Tea and coffee are included with dinner.
