This tour begins with a pickup in Los Cabos and a drive in an air-conditioned vehicle to the marina in Cabo San Lucas. After checking in and meeting the guide, participants board a fast, inflatable zodiac boat with a captain and guide. The boat speeds out of the bay into the Sea of Cortez or the Pacific Ocean for about two hours of whale watching. Humpback whales migrate to this area from December to April, and guests can watch them breach, splash, and swim nearby. Hydrophones onboard allow hearing the whales’ underwater sounds, while marine mammal experts provide commentary about their behavior. On the return trip, the boat passes the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, the sea lion colony, and Lovers Beach before docking at the marina. After disembarking, an air-conditioned vehicle returns guests to their hotels. Life jackets and a professional guide are included. The boat does not have bathrooms or shade.
