This journey from London will take you through England's most iconic cultural and natural landscapes. Along the way, it connects historical villages, charming towns, and magnificent palaces, fully showcasing the charm of the English countryside. The first stop on the journey is the tranquil Bampton, a small village in the heart of the Cotswolds, and also the filming location for the world-renowned TV series "Downton Abbey." Its honey-colored stone houses, winding streets, and elegant architecture perfectly embody the English rural style. If time permits, you can stroll and explore classic village attractions such as Isobel Crawley's house, Downton Cottage Hospital, and the village church. You can also visit the filming locations of the fictional pubs "The Grantham Arms" and "The Dog & Duck" from the series, deeply experiencing the charm of the intertwining fictional world and real village. Next, we head to Stow-on-the-Wold, the most representative market town in the Cotswolds. This ancient town, perched on a hill, is famous for its honey-colored stone houses, historic market square, and strong English countryside atmosphere. Stroll along the cobbled streets to explore unique antique shops, art boutiques, and traditional tea houses, and experience the leisurely and elegant charm of a Cotswold town. The highlight of the journey is the magnificent Blenheim Palace, the private estate of the 11th Duke of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. The State Rooms within the palace are resplendent, with treasured paintings, tapestries, and Boulle-style furniture showcasing the refinement of British aristocratic life. You can also stroll through the 2,000-acre gardens designed by Lancelot "Capability" Brown, experiencing the perfect blend of British horticultural art and natural landscapes. This itinerary not only takes you into the leisurely life of classic English villages but also connects historical architecture, TV series scenes, and natural beauty, presenting a complete English experience interwoven with culture, history, and nature. ● The order of visits may be adjusted based on the driver-guide's discretion on the day.
