This 2.5-hour small-group tour offers a guided paddle through the Magic Mangrove Lagoon on Beef Island, near Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. Participants use either a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard to move slowly through the mangrove forest, which is known as a nursery for young marine animals such as turtles, stingrays, baby sharks, and barracuda. The local guide explains the surrounding sea and land environment as well as aspects of the local culture. Equipment and the guide are included in the tour price. Food, drinks, gratuities, and transportation to and from the site are not included. The tour operates in most weather conditions. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
