The tour begins with a meeting with the snorkeling guide in Mahahual, Costa Maya, Mexico. Participants receive all necessary snorkeling equipment, including masks and fins. The snorkeling tour takes place inside the reef lagoon (average depth of 1.80 meters), with calm waters and protected from the open sea by the crest of the reef. During snorkeling - and always swimming - you visit two different areas, one with sand and patches of algae grasses, where you can see hawksbill turtles and another near the crest of the reef with coral heads and tropical fish. The tour lasts one hour on the water and a 15-minute boat ride there and back, a total of an hour and a half. Includes equipment and guide.
