The meeting point is at the recommended parking lot next to Donde Alex Restaurant, where participants should arrive with park tickets already purchased online, as tickets are not included and must be secured in advance due to limited daily capacity. From the meeting point, Mauro, a certified naturalist guide, leads the group along the main trails of the park’s humid tropical forest. During the walk, participants can expect to see wildlife such as sloths, monkeys, iguanas, birds, spiders, frogs, snakes, and various insects. Mauro uses an Ultra HD Swarovski crystal spotting scope to observe animals closely and takes photos and videos that are shared with the group. After approximately two hours of hiking, the group takes a short rest before arriving at Playa Manuel Antonio. There, Mauro provides information about Cathedral Point, which connects Playa Manuel Antonio and Playa Espadilla Sur. An optional visit to Playa Gemelas is available, where Mauro shows other trails on a map. Participants may choose to return independently or with Mauro. At the end of the tour, visitors can explore, swim, or hike at one of three beaches: Playa Manuel Antonio, Playa Gemelas, or Playa Espadilla Sur. The tour includes a cleaning protocol, a phone adapter, wildlife pictures and videos, the certified naturalist guide Mauro, and the Swarovski spotting scope.
