Overview

This full-day tour from Perth lasts about twelve and a half hours and visits several locations in the Margaret River region. The first stop is a thirty-minute visit to Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere, stretching 1.8 kilometres across Geographe Bay. Visitors can take photos and have morning tea at their own expense. The tour then continues to Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co. for a one-hour lunch that includes beer, cider, and local wine tasting. After lunch, there is a forty-minute guided walking tour of Mammoth Cave, exploring its large chambers and rock formations while learning about the local plants and animals. Next is a thirty-minute visit to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, located at Australia’s most southwesterly point where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet. The lighthouse stands thirty-nine metres tall from the ground and fifty-six metres above sea level, with a light visible for forty-eight kilometres. Visitors have time to walk around the lighthouse grounds and the nearby old lighthouse keeper cottages. The final stop is a thirty-minute free period to walk through the main street of Margaret River town. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, entrance fees, the guided cave tour, live commentary by the driver-guide, lunch with tastings, and travel on a premium air-conditioned coach.
