Overview

This two-hour cycling tour in Singapore follows the city’s Marina Bay riverfront after dark. Riders start and finish at the physical shop, where lockers are available to store luggage and there are toilet and shower facilities. The tour includes a rental bicycle and helmet, bottled water, and a poncho if needed. The ride begins along the Kallang River and through Kallang Riverside Park, passing local neighborhoods. Next, cyclists reach the National Stadium, a modern stadium with a retractable roof and a 55,000-seat capacity, viewed up close at night. The route continues past the Singapore Flyer, the world’s largest observation wheel outside the US, standing 165 meters tall. The tour then stops at the Formula One Pit Building near the Flyer. Participants can cycle a short stretch on the actual F1 track and pause for photos by the garages and Start/Finish Line, except during the F1 race season in September when access is restricted. Riders continue along the Marina Bay promenade to view the Marina Bay Sands complex. The tour also includes a stop at Merlion Park to see the national symbol of Singapore and take photos. Additional sights include the Fullerton Waterboat House, an old colonial building originally built as a fort in 1829 and later used as a post office until the 1970s. The tour passes by the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, a performing arts venue known locally as the “durian.” Weekend tours may coincide with outdoor performances there. Throughout the ride, a licensed local guide leads the group. The tour continues in light rain, with shelter breaks if weather conditions worsen.
