Local market and family home

After meeting at Pharmacie Bab Doukkala, a brief walk through a nearby local market takes place to purchase fresh vegetables and ingredients for the class. Then, the group proceeds to a family home close to the market. The session begins with learning to prepare traditional Moroccan mint tea, which is shared while introductions are made. The first dish prepared is the one requiring the longest cooking time; while it simmers, participants work together on additional dishes, allowing for multiple authentic Moroccan recipes to be learned. Typical dishes include various tagines such as vegetable, chicken, beef, or kefta, with couscous workshops available if requested in advance. Dietary needs like vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free can be accommodated. After cooking, the meal prepared is eaten, and recipes for all dishes made, plus extra Moroccan recipes, are provided afterwards. Children aged 6 and older may participate in the class.
