Overview
This two-hour motorized tour in Maui offers the chance to drive or ride as a passenger in a Can-Am Sport Max 1000, a four-seater off-road vehicle. A guide leads the group through various trails on the west side of the island near Lahaina. Safety equipment and the vehicle are included, but snacks and hotel transfers are not. Drivers must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Children aged 7 and older can ride as passengers when booked with a driver. Each participant requires a ticket, and closed-toe shoes and full clothing must be worn during the tour. Helmets and goggles are provided and mandatory. Guests should be prepared for dust or mud depending on weather. Certain health conditions and recent surgeries disqualify participants. Drivers must be over 25 to operate vehicles carrying minors under 18.

Westside UTV Tour Base
This location is situated above Kapalua Airport and a few minutes from Kanapali Beach and Lahaina. It offers over 1,400 acres of riding terrain with ocean views. Guests can drive or ride as passengers in Canam sport max 1000 off-road vehicles. The tours cover miles of trails and are guided. The area includes the Pu’u Kukui Watershed Preserve, home to unique plant and animal species and known as one of the wettest places on earth. The 2-hour tour combines riding with education on the preserve and Hawaiian culture. Every passenger must be booked.
