This 2-hour small group whale watching raft tour departs from Mala Ramp in Lahaina, Maui. The tour travels to the Maui Nui Whale Sanctuary, a winter area where humpback whales come to mate and give birth. Whale sightings are guaranteed from December through April, with a free return trip offered if no whales are seen. The custom-built raft provides close-up views of the whales. A marine naturalist guides the tour and offers information about the whales. Passengers can listen to whale songs through an onboard hydrophone and speaker system. Reef-safe sunscreen is provided, and filtered water is served in paper cups to reduce plastic waste. The tour does not allow children under 3 years old or pregnant persons. Alcoholic beverages are not included.
