Galicia is home to the MEGA Museo Estrella Galicia, Spain's first beer museum located within the active Estrella Galicia brewery. This guided visit lasts about three hours and covers eight areas that explain beer's origins, raw ingredients like hops and malt, the brewing process, packaging, and distribution. The tour also includes a look at Estrella Galicia's advertising and sponsorship history. During the visit, guests can smell and touch raw materials, see the factory and boiler room, and learn about the brand’s evolution over more than 110 years. At the tasting room, visitors receive instruction on how to pour beer using the Perfect Draft system and get to try five different 12 cl beers plus an extra beer. The selection may vary depending on the beer theme.
