The Merzouga Sahara Desert has a local legend about a wealthy family who refused hospitality to a poor woman and her son. According to the story, God punished them by burying them under the sand dunes 50 kilometers south of Erfoud, in the area known as Erg Chebbi. These dunes near the twin towns of Merzouga can reach heights of up to 160 meters. Their color changes throughout the day, glowing rose gold in the morning and shifting to orange, pink, and purple as the afternoon sun moves across the sky. This tour lasts about three days and two nights. It includes two nights of accommodation, which depends on the option selected by the traveler, as well as breakfast and dinner. Guests will take a camel ride lasting a total of one hour and thirty minutes, spread between sunset and sunrise. Transportation is provided with air conditioning inside the vehicle. Pickups and drop-offs are included within a defined area around Marrakech. Lunch and drinks are not included, nor are guides for visits to Ait Ben Haddou and the Todra Gorges. Travelers staying outside the pickup area must meet the group at the designated meeting point or contact the operator via WhatsApp. Accommodation options vary from standard lodgings with basic features to comfort class rated equal to three-star hotels and VIP or luxury accommodations equivalent to five-star hotels.
