by Outdoor Adventure Rafting
This whitewater rafting trip on the Middle Ocoee River lasts about three hours and includes lunch and all necessary gear. The river’s natural formation lacks common features like undercuts or sieves, allowing rafters a more challenging experience than usual for non-professionals. The guides undergo extensive training, including Emergency Medical Responder certification and Swiftwater Rescue courses, enabling them to lead the group through sections of the river that other companies avoid. This combination of river conditions and guide expertise offers a rafting experience that pushes typical limits.
