Overview

Travel by glass-roof coach from Queenstown, enjoying views of Lake Wakatipu as you leave the city. Along the route, stop at Mirror Lakes for about 10 minutes to see the reflective waters framed by the Earl Mountains. Next, pause for 10 minutes at Monkey Creek where fresh glacier water is available to refill bottles. A brief 10-minute stop is scheduled at Homer Tunnel for photos, depending on weather conditions. The coach is equipped with free WiFi and selected hotels offer transfers. The tour includes a scenic cruise on Milford Sound lasting about 90 minutes. Milford Sound lies within the Fiordland National Park, known for its rugged landscape with cliffs rising sharply from dark waters, mountain peaks, and waterfalls up to 1000 meters tall. The area was formed by glaciers during the ice ages and is the only New Zealand fiord accessible by road. A picnic lunch is provided during the day. The total duration of the tour is approximately 13 hours. This trip covers both transportation and sightseeing, combining land travel and a boat cruise to explore one of New Zealand’s most famous natural landmarks. Gratuities are not included.
