Overview

This full-day cruise around Milos lasts about eight hours and accommodates a small group of up to 12 passengers on a sailing boat. The boat features large shaded areas and hammocks, and is run by two experienced multilingual sailors who guide the trip. The cruise focuses on the western part of Milos, including the remote areas of Kleftiko and Sykia. The journey includes stops at Klima, the island's first capital and the site where the Venus de Milo statue was found, where guests can take photos and hear historical information. The boat then passes Cape Vani, featuring a 19th-century iron and manganese mine, with an opportunity for a quick swim if weather allows. There are several swim and snorkelling stops with provided equipment. The first is a 30-minute swim at Kalogries Beach combined with a light brunch. This is followed by a two-hour stop at Sykia Beach, where guests anchor south of the cave, swim with masks and flippers, and enter the Sykia cave by dinghy. Homemade snacks, ouzo, and fresh drinks are served on board here. The longest stop is 90 minutes at Kleftiko Beach, where guests can snorkel, explore caves by dinghy, and enjoy a freshly cooked lunch along with drinks. Before returning to Adamas port, there is a final 20-minute swim at Agios Dimitrios Bay, offering views of the Milos caldera, Plaka, and Tripiti. The cruise includes alcoholic and carbonated beverages, bottled water, snacks, lunch, use of snorkelling gear, onboard WiFi, and free photos taken with a GoPro camera sent by email. Towels and sunscreen are not provided. The itinerary may change for safety or comfort depending on weather, and guests should be fit enough to handle the movement of the sailing yacht.
