The tour starts with a hotel pickup after breakfast around 8:00 AM. Travelers are transferred northeast of Zanzibar, heading to Mnemba Island, located off Matemwe Village within Menai Bay conservation area. Upon arrival, the guide provides a life jacket demonstration and an overview of the day's activities before boarding a boat. The boat trip begins with a search for dolphins, which are seen about 85% of the time. After dolphin watching, the group visits a snorkeling site where a guide accompanies participants to highlight points of interest and support beginners. Following snorkeling, the boat moves to a nearby sandbank or island where guests can swim, relax, and enjoy soft drinks provided throughout the day. The excursion concludes with a return to the shore for a seafood lunch. After lunch, guests are transferred back to their hotel. The entire trip lasts about 5 to 6 hours and includes lunch, snorkeling gear, all fees and taxes, and air-conditioned transport.
Mnemba
The private boat heads to Mnemba Island departing from the shore. There is an opportunity to spot dolphins before the captain navigates to snorkeling sites. After snorkeling, the boat moves to a sandbank where guests can relax, swim, and enjoy tropical fruits and soft drinks.
