Boarding and Afternoon Schedule

Between 9:00 and 9:30, guests who have arranged the limousine transfer from Hanoi to the cruise are collected from their hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Guests without this transfer should arrive by 12:00 noon at Mon Chéri's waiting area located at number 3 Got Pier in Cat Hai, Hai Phong. Boarding Mon Chéri Cruises begins at 12:30 with a welcome drink and cold towel provided, followed by a cruise briefing including safety instructions before cabin check-in. The cruise departs while lunch is served in the restaurant, cruising through the canals en route to Halong Bay. At 15:30, the boat reaches Light and Dark Cave, where guests can kayak or take a bamboo boat rowed by locals, then return to the ship for swimming nearby. By 17:30, guests are back onboard to watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and attend a complimentary sunset party. At 18:30, a cooking demonstration on traditional Vietnamese spring rolls is offered. Massage services are available onboard by booking directly with the Cruise Manager. Dinner is served at 19:00. From 20:45 until midnight, guests may enjoy the bay's nighttime scenery from the top deck, listen to music, have drinks, try squid fishing, watch a movie, or rest in their cabin. Morning to Evening Activities on Day Boat

At 6:15, guests may start the day early to watch the sunrise or join Tai Chi on the top deck, accompanied by coffee or tea. Breakfast buffet is served at 7:00. At 7:40, guests transfer to a day boat for a trip to Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. They can cycle through the village and rice fields or opt for an electric car, then trek in the forest to explore a hidden cave. At 12:00, a BBQ lunch is served on the day boat. At 14:00, kayaking is available in Van Boi Bay with visits to a floating village, followed by swimming or more kayaking at a pristine beach. At 16:00, guests return to Mon Chéri Cruises, with time to shower before joining a sunset party with new guests. Dinner is served at 19:15. From 20:45 to midnight, guests may enjoy the bay’s night scenery from the top deck, listen to music, have drinks, try squid fishing, watch a movie, or rest in their cabin. Overnight onboard.

Cat Ba Island Visit and Departure

At 6:00, guests may wake early for Tai Chi or sunrise viewing on the top deck, with coffee and tea available. Buffet breakfast is served from 7:00 to 8:30. At 8:20, a bus takes guests to visit a notable stalagmite and stalactite cave in Cat Ba National Park. At 9:30, guests return to the boat, check out of their cabin, and have brunch while the boat sails back to the pier. The bill is settled at the end of the trip. At 11:30, guests disembark and return to the port. Those who booked return transfer to Hanoi depart by D-car at 14:30.
