This half-day tour takes you to two of Montevideo's longstanding family wineries. The first stop is the Dardanelli Winery, established in 1949 by Constante Dardanelli. It is located in the rural area of Montevideo along Camino de los Molinos. The winery has a family tradition spanning three generations, with women playing important roles in operations. The winery has transitioned from producing traditional wines and natural grape juice to using modern methods for fine wine production. Next, the tour visits Bodega Fallabrino in the Colón region of Montevideo. Founded by Angel Tomás Fallabrino, an Italian immigrant who began working in vineyards at age 12, this winery reflects over 100 years of family history and Italian winemaking influence. The region’s climate supports quality wine production. Visitors can explore both wineries and have free time to browse their shops. The entire tour lasts about three and a half hours.
