Overview

This about 6-hour guided driving tour covers key sites in Montreal starting with a drive through Westmount on the way to Mount Royal. Along the route, the vehicle passes Saint Joseph's Oratory, the largest church in Canada. At Mount Royal, participants stop to see the city skyline and natural surroundings, with time to take photographs. The tour continues to Notre-Dame Basilica, a Gothic Revival church known for its architecture and stained glass windows. After visiting the basilica, the drive passes notable sites including Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, downtown Montreal with its shops and skyscrapers, McGill University, Chinatown, and the Golden Square Mile neighborhood. The final stop is the Old Port of Montreal for a 90-minute St. Lawrence River cruise, offered seasonally from March to October. When the cruise is not operating (October to April), admission to La Grande Roue is included instead, with a one-hour visit. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off within downtown Montreal and is conducted in a small group with a maximum of six guests.
