Overview

The highlight of this 8 to 10-hour hiking trip is watching the sunrise from the summit of Mount Batur, an active volcano in Bali. The group climbs through the jungle in darkness under a sky filled with stars, sometimes seeing shooting stars along the way. Once at the top, hikers can see panoramic views of three volcanoes: Mount Agung, Mount Abang, and Mount Rinjani, while the sun rises over the volcanic valley. After descending, the route passes by Lake Batur, the crater lake inside the caldera. The hike starts near Toya Bungkah Hot Spring, located close to Lake Batur in the Kintamani region. This tour includes a breakfast featuring eggs cooked using the steam from volcanic fissures. The group size is limited to 1 to 5 participants per guide, making the trip feel private despite being a shared hike. The package includes breakfast, bottled water, snacks, trekking poles, flashlight, raincoat if needed, all fees and taxes, air-conditioned transport, and tea and coffee. Personal expenses are not covered.
