Overview

Depart from Shinjuku to witness Tokyo transform into lush mountains. First stop: Mt. Fuji 5th Station (2,300m), offering incredible views (weather permitting). Optional lunch (inform us of any dietary restrictions). Then, experience the active Volcanic Zone of Owakudani, followed by a scenic Hakone Ropeway ride to Lake Ashi for a relaxing cruise. Important: Fuji visibility depends on the weather; no refunds if it's covered. If the ropeway/boat is not operating, alternative points of interest in the Hakone area will be visited (the tour continues). Return options: Choose "return by bullet train" to Tokyo (ticket included), or "get off at Odawara or Hakone" if using your JR Pass. The guide will not accompany you on the train.

If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, we will visit Oshino Hakkai Village, Arakura Sengen Shrine, or the Fujisan World Heritage Center. Additionally, due to traffic conditions and schedules, some stops may be canceled. However, we will do our best to maintain the planned itinerary. As a general rule, we do not issue partial refunds in these cases. The Hakone Ropeway and the Hakone Pirate Ship on Lake Ashi may not operate for various reasons (wind, fog, etc.). In this case, we may visit other places (also to respect the schedule on busy days), such as Lake Kawaguchi (on a cruise), the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway, the Lake Ashi cruise, the Mount Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, the Hakone-en Aquarium, the Hakone Checkpoint, the Hakone Shrine, etc. Please note that refunds will not be issued for complaints related to the weather or changes made to the tour program by the guide or any member of our staff. If you miss the bullet train after getting off at Odawara Station, there will be no refund. Please board the next available train (2 trains per hour) in the unreserved compartment. If you plan to take the bullet train after your visit, be sure to purchase the ticket at Odawara Station. Children under 5 years old can travel for free, but are not entitled to a seat on the bus or lunch. If you need a seat on the bus or lunch, please book the child fare. Lunch Option: If you choose the no-lunch option, lunch is not included. Please prepare your own lunch. Allergies or gluten-free: Unfortunately, we do not offer gluten-free meals, but we can accommodate most allergy-related requests. Muslim Meal: We offer a Muslim meal (without pork or alcohol), but it is not halal certified. Due to bad weather, Mount Fuji may not be visible, even from the base. Please note that the tour cannot be canceled or refunded for this reason. If the group of participants is small, other smaller vehicles may be used instead of the large bus, or you may travel on a bus with other international visitors and an English-speaking guide (the Spanish-speaking guide, of course, is included).
