Overview

This small-group tour starts with pick-up from Kawaguchiko station or nearby hotels around Lake Kawaguchiko. Travelers are transported by private vehicle with air conditioning to the north side of Mt. Fuji, where Aokigahara Forest is located. The tour lasts about three hours and includes entry to the Mt. Fuji Ice Cave, a natural cave accessible only with special permission. Visitors explore the cave with an English-speaking guide and use the provided equipment: helmet, overall, gloves, and a headlight. Inside the cave, there are no handrails or artificial lighting, so guests rely on their headlights as they move through the unmodified interior. The group size is limited to 12 people. The tour returns to the original pick-up points at the end.
