This four-hour bike tour covers major landmarks and neighborhoods, combining historical and modern Munich. The ride includes stops at key locations such as Königsplatz, the English Garden with its famous Eisbach surfers, and the old botanical gardens from the 1800s. The tour also visits several important art galleries called the Pinakotheken, the Wittelsbacher Brunnen fountain, the Bavarian State Chancellery, and Odeonsplatz with the Feldherrnhalle and Theatinerkirche. You will see the Friedensengel monument, the Maximilianeum building that houses the state parliament and a student foundation, and Marienplatz, Munich’s main square. Additional stops include the central farmers' market, Viktualienmarkt, the Ohel Jakob synagogue, St. Peter’s Church - the city’s oldest church - and the Deutsches Museum, Bavaria’s largest science and technology museum. The tour includes a 30-minute break for lunch at the Chinesischen Turm beer garden, where traditional Munich food and beer are available for purchase. Bicycle use is included, as well as optional helmets, sunscreen, children’s bikes and equipment if requested, free wifi, and luggage storage at the shop. Food and drinks are not included in the price. The tour starts with a bike fitting at the office and proceeds by bike to each stop.
