Hiking Recommendations Route 1: Taisho Pond - Tashiro Pond - Kappa Bridge This 3.5-kilometer route is perfect for first-time visitors. The walk takes about 1-1.5 hours, is flat throughout, and offers picturesque scenery along the way. You will admire the charming withered trees of Taisho Pond, the tranquil wetlands of Tashiro Pond, and finally reach Kappa Bridge, the iconic spot of Kamikochi, with visual enjoyment at every step! Route 2: Kappa Bridge - Myojin Bridge - Hotaka Shrine Okumiya & Myojin Pond For experienced hikers, this 5.6-kilometer route is well worth a try. Starting from Kappa Bridge, pass through the tranquil Myojin Bridge and walk to Hotaka Shrine Okumiya, enjoying the mountain and riverside scenery along the way. Quietly enjoy the tranquility of nature by Myojin Pond, allowing you to be completely immersed in the embrace of nature.
