Shirakawa-go Gassho Village, a World Cultural Heritage Site - Stroll through the fairytale-like thatched cottage village in winter and admire the unique "Gassho-zukuri" architecture (it is even more dreamy during the winter lighting period, please pay attention to specific dates). - Autumn and winter season only: autumn leaves are dyed in layers vs. winter snow scenery, just take a picture and it will be a postcard!
