This two-hour homemade pizza class takes place at the Toffini Academy in Napoli, a home-style kitchen designed for non-professional food enthusiasts. Participants learn how to prepare authentic Neapolitan pizza dough using traditional ingredients and techniques, without the use of a wood-fired oven. The class covers making three types of pizza: the classic Pizza Margherita, Fried Calzone (Pizza Fritta), and Montanara, which is fried pizza dough topped with the ingredients of a Margherita pizza, a typical Neapolitan street food. Each participant has their own workspace and tools to practice dough preparation and quick cooking methods that preserve the distinctive flavor and crunch of Neapolitan pizza. The session includes a non-alcoholic aperitif, dinner featuring the pizzas made during the class, bottled water, and local taxes. Alcoholic beverages and transportation to and from the location are not included. The minimum age to participate is seven years, and the dress code is smart casual. Gluten-free dietary requirements should be advised at the time of booking.
