Mount Wakakusa offers a great view of Nara's scenery, and the traditional "Wakakusa Yamayaki" (Mount Wakakusa Fire Festival) is held every January. This area is home to many deer, and 🦌 feeding them deer crackers is a highlight for tourists, but please be aware that the deer may swarm you.
