Overview

The tour starts with a transfer from Punta Arenas to Laredo Bay, located 25 kilometers north of the city. At Laredo Bay, travelers board speedboats to navigate the Strait of Magellan. The navigation route passes through waters where Sei whales, oyster dolphins, and southern dolphins can often be seen. After approximately 45 minutes of navigation, the boat arrives at Magdalena Island. Travelers disembark for a guided walk lasting one hour to observe the natural habitat of Magellanic penguins. After the visit to Magdalena Island, the boat continues to Marta Island. Visitors spend about 30 minutes there observing sea lions, imperial cormorants, and hundreds of southern gulls. Following the wildlife viewing at Marta Island, the boat returns to the pier at Laredo Bay. Finally, travelers are transferred back to Punta Arenas. The entire tour lasts approximately four to five hours. Tea and coffee are provided on board. All fees and taxes are included in the tour.
